Annual Community Clean-Up Day 2023

CBDGG Clean Up Poster 20th May.png

May 2, 2023

We hope you all enjoyed the bank holiday weekend (despite the changeable weather).

The committee met last week to make plans for our Annual Community Clean-Up Day, and we are pleased to let you know that we will be holding this event on Saturday May 20th from 2pm followed by refreshments served from 5pm.

We will be putting up posters in advance of the day, but please let your neighbours know of our plans as not all residents are on this mailing list.

On the day we plan to cut and edge all the verges and carry out a general tidy up of all the footpaths and roads.  We will also carry out a tree survey to capture where trees have been removed and not replaced, and where trees were never planted before, but could be accommodated.  We also hope to meet as many residents as possible to find out what you all would like to see happening over the coming months and years.

Please see below the poster for the Clean-Up Day, which has also been put up on our Facebook & Twitter pages.

We currently have a vacancy on the committee for a representative from Castleknock Brook, so if you would like to get involved - please drop us an email.

2023 Membership Renewal

Community

May 2, 2023

We are now calling on residents to send us your 2023 membership renewal fee of €20 (cash payments are preferred - so please put your fee in an envelope with your name and address on the outside so we can then provide you with an email receipt).  If you would prefer to make your payment via an alternative method, please email us with your preferred method and we will advise how this can be accommodated).

If you have not received an email from us about this, please drop us an email to castleknockdgg@gmail.com and we can add you to the mailing list.
